Where do we go from here?
The first thing you need to do is book a news slot with us so we can ensure we are able to include your event in our schedule.
Then we need to establish the photography you have available and the format you wish to go for. We will require payment, in full, in advance of commissioning work on your publication. Payments can be made through our PAYPAL account or by cheque to Celebration Time News. Please be aware that, where payment is made by cheque, we will not start work until the cheque has cleared through our account. You will also be asked to sign and return an agreement confirming that you have commissioned us to work on your personal newspaper.
Once payment has been made we will prepare and forward a schedule of publication to you. This will detail what is needed from you, by when, along with details of our -in-house deadlines for content, design, proofing, approvals and print. Please note that we can only meet your requested deadline if you supply the pictures and information needed from you by the time stated on our schedule.
Depending upon the nature of your event, you will also be sent a pre-interview questionnaire, outlining the areas of interest our reporter is likely to cover. It will also include the kind of photographs you will be asked to supply along with contact details of people we may want to talk to in order to prepare your stories.
Do I get to see everything before it goes to press?
Once we have spoken to the people we need to interview in order to generate the content for your personal news publication, our reporter will verbally agree with you what they feel are the best stories to be featured. They will then prepare the written content - which will also depend on the photography available - before passing it to our page layout designers to prepare your page proofs. Once we are happy with your proofs, we will email or post them to you for your approval. We do not go to press until we are happy that you are happy - and we will ask you to sign and date each page to confirm you are happy for it to be printed.
What does the cost include?
Celebration Time News papers are a top quality, highly bespoke product and each issue is specifically written and prepared for you by experienced journalists and designers.
The cost covers everything from our advice on the best format to select for your occasion, interviewing your nominated contacts, preparing all content and liaising with you to obtain the required images to include within it. It includes, where necessary, scanning in supplied hard copy images, the design, layout and proofing of your personal newspaper and one professionally printed copy. It is important to point out that this is produced through a professional printing company and not reproduced on a photocopier. Additional copies can be bought as per our price list opposite.
